Robert E. Lopez is an American Lawyer licensed since 1999.

Robert graduated from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles after earning 3 consecutive full-tuition scholarships. Although Robert was also accepted to other prestigious law schools including Notre Dame, UCLA, Cornell, Georgetown, and others, many of which also offered Robert scholarships, choosing USC was an easy decision for Robert. After all, Robert had also attended USC as an undergrad and thoroughly enjoyed the academic rigor and warm weather of Southern California.

Robert was born into a lower middle-class family in Wisconsin. His father was a Marine (Semper Fi!) and then a foundry worker who became a high school teacher before retiring. Robert’s mother was an administrative assistant who picked crops in the fields as a child and eventually became and still is a registered nurse.

Before going to law school, Robert was the customer service manager and then the production manager of an outsourcing company that utilized high-tech with foreign labor to assist their clients around the United States.

As Robert says, “We had contracts with Fed Ex, UPS, DHL and Airborne Express as well as medical insurance companies. We would scan in over 100,000 shipping forms daily and then send those images by satellite to Mexico, Grenada and Barbados where lower cost employees would type out the information in the forms you complete when you ship a package. We would process that information and send it back to the client so they could bill the senders. The best memory of this job was when I got the opportunity to help set up the Mexico plant with hundreds of employees. At the time I left, we had just over 400 persons working two different shifts. It was exciting and something I never forgot even after I became a lawyer.”

While working at this tech-labor company, Robert was accepted to law school and began his law career. However, he never forgot his days as a production manager and used that knowledge to start his own overseas tech-labor company focusing on helping fellow lawyers.

As Robert says, “I enjoyed practicing law, but I hated doing the admin work that I knew should have been delegated to other persons. I always felt that finding high-quality people overseas was the key to having the law firm that I really wanted and that would allow me to provide the level of service that I dreamt of offering to my clients.”

Although it took many years, Robert has now built an overseas company to help solo and small law firms. And now we are ready to help you build the law firm team of your dreams.
