25 year, US Attorney Robert Lopez interviews each Philippine attorney. As part of this interview process, attorney Lopez categorizes each applicants, demeanor, personality and work experience. Some attorney candidates have prior US law experience. Some have backgrounds which would be beneficial to the US law firm that they are placed with.

Accounting or CPA background

For instance, some Philippine attorneys are also CPAs which makes them especially helpful if they work with a US firm that works with accounting details such as probate and estate planning firms.

Nurse or Medical background

Other Philippine attorneys are also nurses or have medical background experience. Having a medical background makes them helpful with working for a personal injury firm.

We really do try to place the Philippine candidate with a firm that matches their background and interest so that both the US law firm and the Philippine attorney both benefit.

Working with a remote attorney is not difficult as most things that are done in person can also be done in person. There are a few things that the US law firm must do so that they can increase their chance of successfully onboarding their new team member.

How do you decide your prices?

Hiring a full time Philippine attorney starts at $3,000 per month. This amount could increase based on the years of experience. You would decide this prior to your Philippine attorney coming on board.
